The Hammer and the Fire

Scripture: “Is not my word like fire, declares the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?” — Jeremiah 23:29Some obstacles in life feel like solid granite—addictions, generational mindsets, or hardened hearts. Our own willpower often fails against these “rocks.” But God’s Word is a hammer that can shatter the most stubborn pride and a fire that consumes everything not of Him. It purifies our desires and breaks down the walls that keep us from His presence.

Prayer: Lord, let Your Word be a fire that purifies my heart and a hammer that breaks every stubborn habit in my life. Amen.
