Restoring Passion and Purpose
Scripture: “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten…” — Joel 2:25
Thought for Today: Sometimes we lose our “fire” because life has been hard, or we feel like we’ve wasted too much time. The “locusts” of regret, distraction, or failure have chewed away at our passion. But our God is a Master Restorer. He doesn’t just give you back what you lost; He makes the new season so fruitful that it makes up for the lost years! Your purpose hasn’t expired. God is ready to pour the “oil of the Spirit” on your embers until they become a blaze again.
Work the Word
The “Fan the Flame” Act: What is one dream or passion you’ve let slide? Today, take one small step toward it. Write one page, make one call, or do five minutes of research. As you do, say: “Lord, I am fanning the flame. Restore my fire!”
Prayer: Father, I thank You that it’s never too late with You. I repent for letting my heart grow lukewarm. Ignite my passion again! I want to live with a burning purpose for Your kingdom. In Jesus Name Amen.
Key Truth to Remember: God can do more in one year of restoration than the enemy can steal in ten years of destruction.
