The Strength to Keep Going
Scripture: “Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
Thought for Today: The hardest part of any race is the “middle”—where the excitement of the start has faded, and the finish line is still out of sight. This is where “Keep Going” strength is born. We often want the harvest now, but God is developing your character in the wait. The “due season” is a guaranteed appointment on God’s calendar! Perseverance isn’t just about surviving; it’s about staying in the field until the crop comes in. You aren’t just waiting; you are maturing!
Work the Word
The “Finish Line” Vision: Find a quiet moment and close your eyes. Picture yourself crossing the finish line of your current struggle. Now, take a step forward and say: “I am not a quitter. I am a reaper! I will stay the course until my due season arrives.”
Prayer: Lord, give me the grit and grace to stay in the race. When I feel like stopping, remind me of the harvest ahead. I choose to keep doing good, knowing You are faithful to Your Word. Amen.
Key Truth to Remember: The only way to lose the harvest is to leave the field.
