The Surgeon’s Scalpel

Scripture: “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit…” — Hebrews 4:12Sometimes we feel “off,” but we can’t pinpoint why. The Word of God acts like a divine surgeon. It reaches into the deepest parts of our being—the thoughts and intentions of the heart—and separates truth from lies. It cuts away the “cancer” of bitterness or pride that we didn’t even know was there. This “surgery” might be uncomfortable, but it is always for the purpose of healing and wholeness.

Prayer: Lord, perform Your surgery on my heart today. Cut away anything that hinders my walk with You. in Jesus Name Amen.
