Confidence Rooted in God
Scripture: “For the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught.” — Proverbs 3:26
Thought for Today: Self-confidence is shaky because “self” has bad days. But God-confidence is unshakable because God never fails! When your confidence is rooted in His ability rather than your own, you become fearless. You can walk into any room, face any giant, and tackle any task because you aren’t relying on your own resume—you are relying on His! This kind of confidence keeps you from getting “caught” in the traps of comparison or the fear of man.
Work the Word
The “Rooted” Stance: Before you go into a meeting, a difficult conversation, or a new task today, plant your feet firmly. Say: “My confidence is not in me; it is in the Lord. He is with me, and I cannot fail.” Walk into that situation with your head held high!
Prayer: Lord, I resign from the pressure of trying to be “enough” on my own. I put my total trust in You. You are my strength and my shield. Because You are with me, I am bold and courageous! Amen.
Key Truth to Remember: When God is your Source, your confidence is limitless.
