Command in the Name of Jesus

2nd Thessalonians 3:6  Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

God has authorized us to command things and it conforms! A command is not asking someone to do something, it is telling them what they should do. Of course, in the above scripture, Paul couldn’t make the people do the command, but that doesn’t stop it from being a command. We need to start telling people the truth and giving them commands that will help improve their lives. You may not use the words, “I command you..” But you may choose to say, “You need to …” However, the Lord gives you to share truth with others, do so. Not only do we need to give commands to people, but also to devils.

We need to tell the devil what to do according to scripture. Jesus commanded devils to leave, never come back, go immediately, and all come out. He rebuked devils with authority!

We have been given the name of Jesus to command devils to come out, leave, and never enter again! Whatever we bound on earth is bound in heaven. The devil does illegal stuff and we need to command a halt to his operations in Jesus name!

Not only do we have power to command devils, but we have to command the Word of God over our lives. How? Declare it in the morning! Afternoon! Evening! Prophesy the Word of God over your life. No matter what comes in your life, boldly declare you will walk in victory! The Lord is with me. The Lord will make the crooked places straight! The Lord guides me with his eye and I follow him. I can hear the Lords voice and I do not follow a stranger. Today, I will give God much glory through the good works that I shall do. These works will produce much fruit. I am blessed in everything I set my hands to do for the Lord is with me, prospering the works of my hands. In Jesus Mighty Name I declare it!

You can boldly declare that everyday over your life. Find scriptures of what you want to happen on that day and declare those scriptures over your life in Jesus name!
